Skin disorder

Categories: Diabetis

Question:

I have been diabetic for 19 years and have had a skin disorder called Necrobiosis for the last 6 years. This apparently is due to circulation problems, caused by being diabetic, smoking and also on the combined contraceptive pill.  It looks similar to scolding, but I have in the past had psoriasis treatment for it (namely PUVA).  According to my doctors it is quite a rare skin disorder and occurs usually in diabetics. I am wondering if there are any of you out there that also has the same skin problem.  If so, how have you been treated and has it worked? Trisha
