MSDS woes? Bara Environmental has solutions!!!
Question:
Bara Environmental Solutions is an environmental software company dedicated to achieving HazCom compliance both efficiently and cost-effectively by utilizing the latest in network and Internet technologies. Over six years ago, Bara began an extensive and exhaustive search for environmental software that, by itself, would allow a company or institution to achieve the elusive goal of full HazCom compliance.
First, congratulations on your new endeavor. The area of hazmat compliance consulting is a wide open field, and in many instances the need is critical. You will help meet an important need. However, I must offer the following suggestion: you’re advertising in the wrong place by posting this to Usenet. You need a well-designed webpage. Usenet is frequented by some of the people you wish to reach, that’s true. However, this particular newsgroup is titled misc.health.diabetes. It’s populated by people with the disease known as diabetes, families and friends of diabetics, and a few health professionals with an interest in serving and sharing in diabetes management. There likely is no-one here who would have a use for your company’s services. The same will be true of most of the other newsgroups on Usenet. They’re special interest bulletin board kinds of services. I repeat: you need a well-designed webpage. Advertising via the Internet appears to be a very attractive proposition, but it is, as yet, not the most effective means of reaching those who are your potential customers. You still need the printed word, television and radio. The Internet is an additional, and if properly used, an effective adjunct to the more traditional media. I’m not trying to drive you away. I agree that yours is a needed service. But I do believe you could use the Internet much more effectively and profitably. Good luck in the business world, neighbor. Bill Mayers

At that time, no software or system even came close to addressing compliance, much less solving it. It was up to Bara to design and build such a system from scratch. In order to fulfill such an ambitious dream, Bara had to set for itself three goals that any software must meet before becoming the cornerstone of the company. First, the program had to be built in a format that could be supported by any computer system in existence. Second, it had to conform to the rules and regulations of any and all environmental legislation likely to be encountered by our customers. Finally, such a system when installed and maintained properly, should be such a time and money saver that the customer would never consider any other options. Bara has seen the future, and the future is now. After many years of effort and research, Bara has developed the environmental compliance software of the future. With the advent of the Internet, Bara is now able to offer comprehensive environmental compliance software to the business sector. This system is easy to learn, easy to maintain, and is competitively priced. Here are some features of the Bara system: 1. Searching through EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations, Bara has developed a single program that can be easily manipulated to conform to all regulations from these government organizations. 2. The free movement of critical safety information in a company
