Instead of the usual vacuous sales pitch, why not actually post the studies from which your 10% figure is allegedly derived? I try very hard to say exactly what I mean. I’d appreciate it if you’d bear that in mind and not try to "interpret" my posts to fit your own preconceived notions if I’m posting in a serious thread. Remember: If you throw a strawman into a heated debate, flames are likely to be the result.

My sister was diagnosed with hemochromatosis. She was bled weekly for a year. Has a device in her chest for drawing blood now. I wonder if her condition is related to sugar intolerance. Thank you for the address for Iron Overload Group. The Hemochromatosis Assn. has about squat in the way of information. Our parents got tested for the genetic idea of her having it. I should but can’t afford it. They were negative for having it. One of her current doctors thinks that the diagnosis was incorrect in the first place. I plan to live a very long time and stay young doing it. I take DHEA and Pycnogenols. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – =It is estimated that 10% of all diabetics have iron overload or =hemochromatosis, a condition of excess iron storage in the body, which =undiagnosed and untreated will ultimately kill the patient.
