Floaters: Progress

Categories: Diabetics

Question:

HI everybody, Of the 5 floaters I had, 4 have completely disappeared, and the 1 remaining is much reduced in size and intensity. Ratty suggested dead cells floating in the vitreous, so I take a guess they have now been cleared away in some fashion. Is that possible? — Al, Melton Mowbray, UK Control Beef Lente 1x Low-Carb http://www.diabetesincontrol.com http://www.iddtinternational.org/uk "Do, or do not. Yes, they can disappear as quickly as they appear. Regards Steve E. Yep – it’s all protein and it’s reabsorbed into the body eventually. Found this on the ‘net: http://www.visionworksusa.com/diseases.asp?d_num=6 Interesting comment that floaters are common in diabetics. NK

Thanks for the URL. I note some good comments there, but unfortunately the site then spoils itself by maundering on about Chinese herbs, and vitamin supplements. If your diet is correct and you don`t have nutritional deficits (celiac disease eg) then you get sufficient vits anyway. But thanks for the URL again. — Al, Melton Mowbray, UK Control Beef Lente 1x Low-Carb http://www.diabetesincontrol.com http://www.iddtinternational.org/uk "Do, or do not.
