does anyone know if diabetics can take these drugs. ( if this message already appeared sorry but I am having trouble with my mail sender ) my cousin was wondering. thanks   Lyn BTW   6 1/2 weeks and almost 35lbs lost

I am a type-II NIDDM who takes phentermine and fenfluramine, with zilch side effects except weight loss.  But I sure would ask my doctor this question before swallowing any new medicines. Hey Lyn, Of course, your cousin would have to work with his/her doctor on this, but diabetics are one of the groups that fenfluramine was originally tested on.  It has been shown to improve glucose uptake in diabetics and non-diabetics who take it, and appeared to help even those diabetics whose bodies were resistant to other diabetic treatments, like diet and exercise.  And of course, it will help them lose weight at the same time, which improves the diabetic condition even more. — Maria ^ Atlantic Commercial Capital                 919-477-2071 ph      ^ ^ Commercial Finance & Small Bus.
