Question:

I was on both propulsid and reglan for the past 2 years.  Propulsid was recently discontinued and I still seem to be doing ok. Joe Joe Reardon

I have gastroparesis, same symptoms – how awful.  I have to say that it really takes away from my quality of life.  I am also on Propulsid, twice a day.  I tried Reglan, also, but it caused depression, an addition I didn’t need as I am already on meds for depression.  I have been on propulsid for about 4 years, and now they are having me take Tagament just to help with the heartburn and stuff.  To try to alay the symptoms to make me more comfortable. I have been getting lots of replies both her in the group and also emailed direct.  Thank you everyone.  I am now taking omeprazole to stop the heartburn etc, Domperidome to make the muscles move and in addition I have added Andrews liver salts and prunes to help the digestion.  At present I feel a little better but something is causing me to keep becoming extremely tired and having to drop off for a couple of hours.  Any ideas? Thanks again for the help. June
