What about a set of tapes with stories on them – you can play them to her at night or whenever. Mum raised us on Aunt Sue and Uncle Dan (Bible stories one side and true life stories on the other side). I have kept them for when I have kids. Jill

Well, just to chuck my two cents in, my imagination wasn’t stimulated at all by dolls at that age, but the remote controlled robot, now *that* was cool!

I saw this great marble toy…you put all these pieces together…spirals, tunnels etc…and then the marbles run through them…they even have a glow in the dark one… beanbag toss game leap pad -reading helper thing….(if she is already showing an interest in reading) bit expensive dress up trunk-with clothes for dress up
