Thanks for all the information on the current wave of blood glucose meters.  Well, I have finally decided to purchase the Lifescan One Touch II meter so that I can connect up to my PC and organize my readings for my endo.  I would like to thank Mike Cullina for his current post regarding the One Touch Interface Cable and utility software — which was chock full of info regarding ordering these peripherals. My next question is:  where is the best mail-order place to order the meter from?  (and WITHOUT trading in my "handy, but not quite so useful" current meters — Exactech Companion and Pen)… Lifescan doesn’t even sell the meters to the general public !!?? Mail order might not get you the rebate coupon (which reduces your end cost down to pocket change). Lifescan doesn’t even sell the meters to the general public !!??
