I have diabetes (adult onset) and incredibly high cholesterol and triglicerides and my current medication is not working… My doctor suggested that a possible treatment would be niacinimide. No, niacin (aka nicotinic acid.) Niacinamide has no effect on blood lipids. — Steve Dyer
