Lifescan software
Question:
I would say that if you are the kind of person who is on top of managing your diabetes, the Lifescan Data Management software is probably something to consider. For the average person, I’d say it might be a little too specific. That might be why many people let their endocrinologist print out the readings. I find it helpful though because I got tired of recording the readings in the logbook and often got months behind. So, with the software, I just transfer the readings to my computer and print out a Logbook report. It saves a lot of time and is much easier. The software can also be useful for spotting trends using the many different types of reports. Whether you think this would benefit you is your choice. Brandon

It could be, depending on what you want to know. It provides graphs and charts on blood glucose readings, among other things. But, we take our monitor to the endo for each visit, and he prints it out for us – and we discuss it at that time.
