Internet for the disturbed

Categories: Diabetes

Question:

From Guy Williams In the past the internet has ben touted as an open structure.  Since it is so popular now and you can do anything with impunity. This was never true. There are many mechanisms to log or trace any transaction.  People that do this are interested in things beside some  inmature kid.  They operate in a stealth mode to satisfy political ideas. In view of recent events the efforts will intensify to log the net.  The losses from insane activities are causing large commercial losses.  Prosecution is increasing.  A fellow in a chat got friendly with a 14 year and invited her to come to his town. He supplied the plane ticket and went to meet her.  The girl turned out to be a fifty year old detective. Another case where a fellow was failing to deliver goods after receiving funds. He responded to knock at his door. Ther he was met by a pair of handcuffs. I have examined five systems recently and all of them had keyboard logging software that the owner was unaware of. I do not use my internet computer for anything that I want secure.   Clowns have fun now.  There may be a day of reckoning ahead.  The straight people outnumber you by at least a million to one. Those who intrude on a diabetes group are a sorry lot.  Sooner or later they may get help even if they don’t want it.

My favorite sting operation (Nico can tell you more) involved the "Woodside Literary Agency," a scam outfit that took money from aspiring writers by promising to submit their work to publishers.  Woodside repeatedly spammed several of the writing groups, and one of them struck back.  They persuaded the New York attorney general’s office to monitor the group, and then held a competition to come up with the most atrocious novel excerpt possible.  The winner was titled "Even Hitler Got The Blues" (I presume it’s archived somewhere).  One of them submitted it to Woodside, and got a response that it was promising and that for a few hundred dollars, they could hook them up with a publisher.  At that point The Law moved in.

not always, sometimes they act to protect people from criminals and psychoes. tell me you don’t see stings like this as a problem?  regardless, I am thankful this type of undercover work goes on. Another case where a fellow was failing to deliver goods after receiving funds. He responded to knock at his door. Ther he was met by a pair of handcuffs.

cool. I have examined five systems recently and all of them had keyboard logging software that the owner was unaware of.

idiots should read the manuals and install anti spyware utils and firewalls(especially those that log everything incoming and out going.) I do not use my internet computer for anything that I want secure.

always a smart choice. Clowns have fun now.  There may be a day of reckoning ahead.  The straight people outnumber you by at least a million to one.

yea, but it only takes 1 clown to bring down millions on the net. Those who intrude on a diabetes group are a sorry lot.  Sooner or later they may get help even if they don’t want it.
