Hello there. Great choice of holiday destination! In Sydney there are a number of places. The one that I went to first was the Westmead Hospital. They have a diabetes education nurse there as well as a couple of Endocrinologists (Dr. J. Hazel is quite good). As to the other cities, I suggest contacting the hospitals in those places to get teh most recent details. Have a great time here! Cheers. In Melbourne try International Diabetic Institute (I think their URL is http://www.idi.org.au) in Kooyong Road, Caulfield. Log on to their site. They’ll point you to other sites around Australia. Australia is a great place. Have a good and not too short stay. I can assure you that if you need treatment in an emergency, you can rely on the Ambulance services to assist you with any situation that you find yourselves in.  If you require emergency treatment call 000 and ask for the ambulance.  Ambulance Officers will be able to asses and treat you on the spot.  I should know I am a Paramedic in Australia.
