I’ve always had lowish blood pressure (in fact, in college I was once turned down for donating blood because my blood pressure was too low).
Perhaps we should get together and do a double shunt, Your low pressure would then be offset by my high pressure and normal pressure would result (Too bad it don’t work that way.. Dual funeral would be the more likely outcome but hey, We’d have tried) Jokingly yours: John Davis, Still using his back up usenet service in Delightful Detroit Who fixed his primary usenet software this morning so back to it tomorrow

I’ve always had lowish blood pressure (in fact, in college I was once turned down for donating blood because my blood pressure was too low). In the course of various other medical stuff before I was diagnosed with diabetes, nurses and doctors kept telling me that my blood pressure (at the time hovering around 120/80) was just fine, when it was higher than I’d ever had. Now that I’ve got my blood sugar under control, blood pressure is back down to 110/70 (except for the time I was fuming after waiting 45 minutes *after* my scheduled appointment!). For what it’s worth, I’m still a bit on the chubby size, despite having lost 2 jeans sizes after diagnosis, and my lipids are just fine. — Alice F posting from a new account
