ART – FOR PLEASURE & PROFIT

Categories: Diabetes

Question:

Gee…last time I checked this was a diabetes alias.  Did I miss something?

Response:

grrrrrowl. this does not belong on this newsgroup. as an artist i can say without a doubt that reproducing art works is somewhat akin to counterfeiting, a great way of making money. but not for the hapless investor. dali for instance signed blank sheets of paper. signed prints are a polite scam.                  collectors who wish to make money on the arts would be better off          investing in basic research. for every dollar invested in research          the economy receives ten.                  i will be trouncing this poster privately; this public                  notice is for those naive enough to believe that art is                  an investment. only for the artist. prints are not worth                  the paper they are printed upon.                          melynda melynda reid   who wears hats but does not type caps   snail: p o box 378 greensboro, florida 32330

No….you didn’t miss a thing!  Perhaps they think we could purchase one of their fine prints, place it in a prominant location and gaz upon it, thereby having a calming effect…which can lower your bg’s!!! :- :- Okay, I’m stretching here! Tari

I am the (unfortunate…sigh) person who gets to sit on people at Mordor that do stupid things like spam USENET.  The violator’s account has been disabled pending his agreement to not do this again.  If he does not, the account will be deleted.  I would like to apologize that our system was used in such a childish and iresponsible manner. If there are any repeats, I’d like to hear about it so that the appropriate action can be taken. : Gee…last time I checked this was a diabetes alias.  Did I miss something? Tina: Obviously, this idiot is a case book example of "stupid is as stupid does." Hopefully, it will also be an example of how someone can waste time and, with any luck, money by being an abuser of netiquette and a slew of other offenses that will result in ruining his "business". mvs
