Accucheck Advantage Download
Question:
(Concerning my post about making your own download cable…) If I had to take a good guess I’d say that the voltages on the OT side are likely TTL, (+5/+<.5) volts Could be inverted however not sure. Now there is a handy dandy company called Radio Shack and they have a handy dandy chip called a TTL – RS-232 converter. (Both ways in fact but two chips may well be required)
Yes, the One-Touch was TTL and an inversion of signal polarity was reguired both ways. In another post, it was stated that LifeScan now only sells the cable w/ more expensive software — so maybe a trip to Radio Shack may be worth it after all! I appologize to the original poster that I don’t know more about the Accucheck. TIM (Type I)

If you don’t like the software put the disk in A: AND type "FORMAT A:" to fix it. But the package is still ninty five cents CHEEPER than just one connecter. `[1;33;44m "Nothing adds excitement like something that is none of your business"
