MLM stands for "Multi-level-marketing". It’s a scheme wherein someone recruits you with the promise that you can get rich off their product – only you never sell the product – you, in turn, go and recruit others to work for you to sell the product – yet you tell _them_ what you were told – they just go out and recruit _others_ to sell for them! And when the product is sold, the guys just below you get a cut, you get a cut, your supervisor gets a cut, _his_ supervisor gets a cut…trouble is, this is a scam, otherwise known as a "pyramid scheme". Onliest people who actually make money are the half-dozen or fewer at the very top level of the MLM organisation – everyone else has to pay to get in at the beginning, almost nobody actually sells the product (which is usually garbage anyway) and every time such a scheme collapses, a new one starts up. There seems to be no limit to people’s gullability regarding promises of easy money for little or no work, and certainly plenty of folks willing to take ‘em to the cleaners. Of such gullability have been made many a millionaire – amongst them a guy by the name of P.T. Barnum, originator of the phrase "There’s a sucker born every minute…" Bill Mayers

I would like to help some people with diabetes 2. six months ago I was taking 130 units of insulin a day. since then I have lost 42 lbs. and dont take any insulin. I take two pills a day, glippizide, and stay on the diabetic diet. I walk 1 mile a day and feel better than I ever did. Listen to me guys I did everything wrong for a long time, but I could never go back to that lifestyle again. Try being good to yourself you can do it too. IM NOT BRAGGING just trying to help someone like me. IF I can help you let me know?

Congratulations on your improved health. It’s great when you feel better. For some people, losing weight helps. For some it does not. For some, oral drugs work, for others, insulin is required. Others can live for a time with neither oral drugs or insulin. Needing insulin is NOT a bad thing!!! If your body needs it, it needs it. I believe that nobody should EVER feel bad about taking whatever medication they need. I would guess, however, that at 130 units you had a large amount of insulin resistance. In your case, losing weight and/or learning to eat right helped. Learning to eat well and exercising is surely one of the most important thing for all diabetics to do. Diabetes is a life-long thing, and no two people are alike. [Diabetic snowflakes?
] What worked for you may not work for others. I know you posted so others could share your joy, and I’m sure you didn’t mean to slight others, but you can be fat and healthy and diabetic. For some of us, weight changes do not make the need for insulin go away, and we have nothing to be ashamed of about it. I believe that it’s up to each person (with their medical folk
to decide how to treat their diabetes and how to live. I believe that if you eat well and exercise and take care of yourself, your weight is a secondary issue. I wish you continued good health!
